Whilst we accept that the world is not always fair, we do nonetheless feel it could be a little more equitable. We prefer to work with artists whose works have not become embroiled in a publishing arrangement or are using copyrighted works - but this is probably an unrealistic hope brought about by the fact we are yet still to work out how much the collecting agency (boo! - repressive monopolistic powers!).
Quite simply put (again due to our lack of numerical ability), any net income (after confounded bank fees) will be split 50/50 between the business and the artist. Where there are existing copyrights on the œuvres used by the artist, the 50% will - again equitably we feel - be net of these.
